It all began with the bear, my love of this determined animal began long ago with my treasured koala bear. A gift from my Uncle who was very much loved and remains with me (albeit) very bald. From the age of 18 months, my obsessions with bears began and regular trips to the London zoo to see my furry bear friends, in particular my love of Chi chi. I can still remember seeing her for the first time along with her pal Char Char…. bear jewellery inspirations began from an early age.

So my love for bears has continued and I’m the proud owner of many furry friends, I have collected one the years. My dream to one day travel to china with my children and work on a conservation project and really understand their habitat and of course feast my eyes on a baby panda bear.
When launching Amulette the bear logo was an easy choice. The bear symbolises inner strength combined with a caring nature, bears are excellent parents and will do anything for their young. The Amulette brand has always been about the bear’s something personal to me, connecting my jewellery with real life.
The bear has long represented strength and confidence in the face of adversity, it represents healing and support. A brave, fearless animal, loyal and brave.
Which Bear Necklace is the one for you?
The bear jewellery includes necklaces and pendants. from the mama bear necklace to the signature bear pendant. Layered together the two bear necklaces look wonderful on a separated chain or strung together. In true mama bear necklace style, you can add a personalised seal necklace to represent special, people, family members.
The silver bear necklaces are made from solid sterling silver so hold a good weight as do the 9ct gold version. Each design has been hand carved making it completely unique. We will also be bringing in some gorgeous little bear stud earrings in the coming months.
